Envy is the desire to have what others have. The artist Philippe Shangtii wishes to show that envy can lead to malicious behavior. That is why, through his artworks no envy here and ultimate luxury envy, he stages the eye of protection in order to fight against the male- volence linked to envy.
In his grand staging, he photographs the envied paradise, with the goddess holding the white peacock in her arms, symbol of peace and prosperity, as well as the beauty and divine status of the protagonists of his work, representing the high social status, also a factor of envy
