Anthony's Brother by Hunt Slonem (Copy)

Anthony's Brother is an original oil on panel painting by acclaimed American artist Hunt Slonem, measuring 41cm x 36cm (16" x 14"). Rendered in Slonem’s signature loose, gestural brushwork, the piece distills his celebrated rabbit motif into a few bold, sweeping strokes of black against a vivid red ground — a hallmark of the series that has made him one of the most collected neo-expressionist painters working today. Presented in an ornate gold frame, the work is ready to hang and arrives as a one-of-a-kind original, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Slonem’s rabbits, alongside his tropical birds and butterflies, are held in over 50 museum collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. “Revolver Red” offers collectors an accessible entry point into the work of an artist whose pieces regularly command significant attention at auction and in major galleries internationally.
